A Woman Should Have

March 16, 2009

Here’s another nice article I’ve seen from a note of one of my friends in Facebook. I thought it is worth sharing to all women out there. Hope you like them…

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
enough money within her control to move out
and rent a place of her own,
even if she never wants to or needs to…

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
something perfect to wear if the employer,
or date of her dreams
wants to see her in an hour…

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
a youth she’s content to leave behind….

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a past juicy enough that she’s looking forward to
retelling it in her
old age….

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill,
and a black lace bra…

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
one friend who always makes her laugh..
and one who lets her cry…

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a good piece of furniture
not previously owned by anyone else
in her family…

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems,
and a recipe for a meal,
that will make her guests feel honored…

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .
a feeling of
control over her destiny..

I am a Responsible Woman

December 25, 2008

Just because he takes me out, I don’t owe him anything.

My body is a temple of God and it should be respected by everyone, including myself. Would you trash a church?

The first "No" may be difficult, but if I stick with it, Christ will give me grace to remain pure.

Chastity is still a virtue; lust is still a capital sin.

The way I dress, act and speak may be a temptation to my boyfriend. I will observe modesty for his and my own protection.

My parents have done so much for me, I would never do anything to disappoint them.

My boyfriend might be a husband and father some day, he must be a hero in the eyes of his wife and children. I will do nothing to prevent that on my dates with him.

I might be a wife and a mother. I will reserve my purity and affection for my  husband and children.

If through my weakness I should get pregnant, I will not take "the easy way out" by killing our unborn child.

Why Women Love to Shop?

April 18, 2008

Got interested with the answer to this question because sometimes they associate the word "shop" to malls and spending. I google it and found a nice answer to this question. Here it is:

Actually, I think it’s the gathering instinct. Men are typically considered the hunters. They like to go out, seek out a target, and make the kill. The women are the gatherers. They are programmed to search for berries, roots, and other treasures and to bring them back to the den. That is why men get impatient with women and go hang out in the tool section of the store… stalking their next purchase. Women, meanwhile, go about their business… looking through racks of clothes and searching the sales aisles while they collect bags of treasures to bring back to the den.
